Sometimes we don’t do this mailshot because there’s nothing we’ve found that really knocks our socks off, And we don’t want to fill your inbox with guff. Which means we’re really thankful for those weeks where an abundance of lovely stuff lands that we want to share.

Les Mills - Choose Happy with Brett Goldstein

Before I became a filmmaker I had a job that involved getting shouted at a lot by people who really enjoyed shouting. So you’ll understand why I love this ad. The insight here is something that I’ve always thought… the role of a personal trainer should be to get you to come back next time, not needlessly melt your muscles into jelly for 10 days after you’ve given them money.

Come for the Roy Kent, stay for the way she says ‘weirdo’ right at the very end.

The Pizza Jetpack

Pizza delivery is the 4th Emergency service, much more so than the AA. You never really think about it until you need it, at which point it’s a lifesaving necessity.

The sooner this catches on the better.

We’re for Pets

Animals are a great way to sell pretty much anything.

I was particularly intrigued by the line in the ad “you’ll do anything for your pets, and so will we”… Except for when my puppy ate a light bulb and the Pets At Home vet said they were too busy to see her. Go figure.

Nice ad though. If you do get a pet sign up for the Pets At Home loyalty scheme with multiple email addresses because you get loads of cheap stuff and they don’t check.

Absolutely love the environmental angle on this. Genius.
