End your week inspired

Our semi-irregular shot of creative revelation

Bonjour. Happy Freitag.

Forgive the linguistic gymanstics but we’re off to France and Germany next week on two separate shoots. Plus we’re celebrating a big new client win that we’ll tell you about hopefully this side of Christmas.

Anyway these things don’t write themselves. Onwards.

This week Daniel Craig, breaking out from the £68M creative straitjacket that was Bond. Followed by official approval for lying to your children and a whole bunch of other video rhinestones in the cowboy hat of marketing.

On top of that we’ve included one of our favourite things we’ve made recently; entirely about luxury taps. Plus a recent, bijou, blog post about how to do corporate video production well.

Have a thoroughly splendid weekend.

I do not have the gift of words to adequately describe this miracle. Suffice to say Daniel Craig is the best Bond. It’s a shame he’s too famous for Strictly because pairing him and Johannes would likely end all creation.

Wholly Veggie: Mom and Dad

Wholly Veggie: Mom & Dad

This advert explains why it’s ok to lie to your kids. To deceive, dissemble and deny the truth, because it’s good for them. Enjoy a mendacious moment with a perfect family.

1987 Dr. Pepper

Dr Pepper "Doctor! Doctor!" Commercial (1987)

We’ve included this because it will provide vital proof to future generations that the 80s really happened.

Lululemon: I feel

Initially I thought this was a movie trailer. It’s actually a year old but it’s just rather lovely.

A new thing we made.

Samuel Heath - Vermillion Cut

This was a WHOLE heap of fun. Check out the full case study here.

Movie Trailer of the week:

They Cloned Tyrone

They Cloned Tyrone (2022) | Official Movie Trailer

John Boyega, Jamie Foxx, Kiefer Sutherland and Teyonah Paris. The official blurb is “A series of eerie events thrusts an unlikely trio onto the trail of a nefarious government conspiracy in this pulpy mystery caper”. Our advice is watch the trailer because that sound terrible.

Jerry’s final thought…

That’s it. Thanks for pouring all this loveliness into your eyes. We realised recently that often when we onboard a new client we get asked a lot of the same questions. So we’ve started putting some of the answers we write a lot into blog posts. If you want to know how to do corporate video production well, take a look at our latest musings.
